The international technical college

Since September 1997 there exists an education as certificate study course that lasts 8 semesters. This course is international and doesn’t only serve as a training for the military school, but also as special course, for example, crisis management (Red cross- leadership, earthquake aid, civil defence,…) .

Since 1997, when the military school became a technical college, this school can also be attended by civilians. In 2003 the first four women concluded their education at the Military school with positive marks. All in all 3.576 officers were educated in the Theresian Military Academy since the reopening in 1959.
